Walk in the footsteps of Heidi! We will start the day with a visit to one of Switzerland's most delicious chocolate places. Here, you can enjoy a freshly brewed coffee and spoil yourself or your beloved ones with a sweet mouth watering chocolate gift. The tour is customisable so, if you wish to spend more time and take a tour around Läderach, please inform your driver-guide so you can adjust the schedule accordingly. Then we go to Heidi’s homeland. Green hills, charming Alpine villages and the natural beauty of this rather unknown area will be waiting for you. We will stop in Appenzell for a cheese tasting, and pass by an authentic local farmer shop. We cross the border and continue to Liechtenstein for a pleasant lunch and photo stop near the idyllic castle. Next we will explore Rapperswil, a magnificent mediaeval town overlooking Lake Zurich. Walk up the hill with your driverguide and take wonderful pictures of this unique panorama with Lake Zurich, snow peaked mountains and green hills. This tour is great for those who remember the stories of Heidi and those who want to experience the area where she grew up. For children we can add the entrance to Heidiland, a great place to play or walk around while breathing Switzerland's purest air. This tour will also appeal to hikers. We can add cogwheel train and cable car to reach the top of the mountains and go for an energising hike with stunning views over the grandiose Swiss Alps.
